Medium to large professional fishing vessels usually have fully electrically isolated (two insulated wire) engines. Until they install some types of equipment. Unfortunately domestic vessels do not. The Cabin Cruiser engine ON hours are less than 200 hours per year the engine can be isolated (insulated) by a switch. See Process of Elimination The result will be less than 2% electrolysis corrosion. Calculation: 200 hours per year divided by 8400 total hours per year, 200 / 8400= 2%
