N.B. AC or shore mains power:

Mains power, AC is an abbreviation for Alternating Current. It reverses direction every 1/120 second so a particle removed in the first half Hertz (cycle) will be replaced in the second half Hertz. So AC cannot cause electrolysis. Battery (DC or Direct Current) causes electrolysis corrosion because current flows in one direction only so continually depletes metal particles wherever that metal is damp to immersed. That current will continually remove particles to the sea bed, 24 hours, every day of the year. The SeaBis System eliminates ALL electrolysis, under ALL conditions.

 

 

Blockers...

Blocker are wired by a licensed A Class electrician in series with the mains (shore) power AC earth. Assuming they are engineered correctly and the cheaper are not, they will stop less than 10% of electrolysis causes. 10% is not acceptable. The SeaBis System eliminates 100% of all causes in actual use conditions. The SeaBis System is guaranteed in writing and the guarantee is publicly available here. The Basic SeaBis System.

Installation is easy:

1. Connect SeaBis brown to battery positive - 12 or 24 volts.

2. Connect SeaBis blue to battery negative.

3. Connect SeaBis green/yellow to any metal that is permanently wet while the vessel is in the water. The SeaBis System will eliminate 98% of the causes while your vessel is on land as the engine water cooling passages are damp. Final test are completed while afloat.

4. SeaBis will instantly indicate the level of electrolysis current caused by the engine. Follow Process of Elimination supplied with the SeaBis System to eliminate the cause.

 

 

The Flexible SeaBis System for demonstration or overview.

The Flexible SeaBis System is excellent for very fast demonstration or overview. To demonstrate connect SeaBis brown and blue to the engine battery and touch the engine body with the probe. SeaBis will instantly indicate the ferocity of electrolysis current caused by the engine. Demonstration completed.

The demonstration / overview can then include electrolysis current in the marina / mooring water. With SeaBis still connected to the engine battery, dip the probe in the water adjacent to the hull, drag the probe through the water around the boat and SeaBis will instantly indicate electrolysis current in the water. The Flexible System is as the Basic SeaBis System with professionally soldered battery clips and 30 meter reel of (insulated house earthing wire) probe wire and calibrated copper pipe as sensor.

Connect SeaBis to engine battery, touch engine metal body or any other metal and SeaBis will immediately indicate ferocity of electrolysis current.

Anode Tester: Whenever a probe touches any water it measures the total affect of all anodes on every boat within 150 meters. That probe includes all through hull sensors. The SeaBis Anode Tester measures voltage generated by the anodes on the boat it is connected to, only. It is not influenced by any other boat.

So SeaBis Anode Tester is instantaneous and accurate.
Place the probe in water, drag past anodes and the multimeter will indicate anode activity level, anode by anode. Chart to interpret the multimeter.

SeaBis System with Probe (for Land use).

Very effectively measure electrolysis corrosion current to the Earth then use the SeaBis System Process of Elimination to correct the cause.

Elimination of the cause is the same procedure as the Basic SeaBis System. When SeaBis indicates electrolysis current as Serious or Critical unplug / disconnect circuits until SeaBis indicates Normal. The last equipment you unplugged was the cause. Now it has no power so it will not work so you know which equipment was the cause of electrolysis. Follow Process of Elimination to correct it.

Isolating Transformer for 240 volts.

This isolated transformer will power a TV and mast head antenna or a computer etcetera. Rated at 2 amps at 240 volts, continuously. Australian 3 pin connector. Never buy an "Autotransformer" type. They are cheap and cause electrolysis. This transformer is correctly insulated so stops DC connection to the shore / other vessels while allowing AC to pass.
